basically it will be you and fh im guessing, your lawyer if you hired one, then the ppl who are selling the house, their lawyers and a bunch of other ppl...You basically sit at a table and their side goes over a few things with your side then they'll just keep handing over papers for you to sign. Alot of just sitting there and them doing their own thing and you sing TONS of papers. They cut up the checks and give you what papers you need, the keys and things like that. Nothing exciting lol, ive done it twice

There is a lot of signing...personally I asked what I was signing because they expect you just to sign your name...and who knows what the form says! Like Joshisgirl said bring personal checks, sometimes there are some things you have to pay for that you weren't made aware of...also, my friend the day before found out she owed a lot more then she thought so make sure you speak to someone about exactly how much each check will be for and to whom, cause it will stink to find out you are missing something once you get into the lawyers office.

yea be prepared to sign alot of papers!! omg i couldnt believe how much papers!! we were signing our life away!! its so hard to write those huge checks also
