We're not going on our honeymoon until next June, but I like to do things way in advance. I live in Merrick, anyone have any ideas on where I get a passport?

Thats where I go, I'm in Mineola and our post office I know does it for sure. You should check the closest one to you.

I live in Merrick and found the easiest thing to do was to go to the PO in Roosevelt Field mall. It was pretty wuick and if you can get there during the day it should be a snap.

You can do it through the post office, but keep in mind it takes 4ever especially since its requred now. I did mine last year & it took almost 4 months to receive.
If you plan to do it expedited send it directly to a passport office because I beleive the post office sits on them b4 they send them out., which makes the wait even longer. If you do it directly through a regional office it will be quicker.

Just about all the post offices should have this. I know Rockville Centre does and 99.9% Freeport does as well.

The bellmore post office does it. You can pick up the forms there. Then go to CVS to get the pictures taken. Fill out applications and bring back to post office ( look at the hours before you bring back ) with the correct amount of money and ID.

The Post Office in West Hempstead was GREAT!
The take the pics there ON SITE so it was one less stop for me to make.
