SWR: Working Out

OK I gotta get back into the swing of things and start working out regularly again. For those who work out regularly, how many days do you work out, for how long and what % is cardio?

Thanks!

Re: SWR: Working Out

to lose weight- 5 to 6 days of cardio

45 minutes

to maintian 4 days- 30 to 40 minutes

this is what I do

edited- I left out the major thing I do- I have a trainer 2 times a week- we do total body- lots of balance ball and balance disk stuff

weight training is super important- if your are scared to go to the weight area alone- take advantage of the free training sessions most gyms offer new memebers- or buy a few sessions- they are worth every penny if you are serious

I vary it up. I try to go at least 4 days and do at least 50- 75% cardio.

I also take classes like cardio sculpt, which usually have a good ratio of the two.

sux but you need sculpting AND cardio. I am really trying, but also trying not to go crazy. I DON'T want to end up like a bone- just nice and tight.

I take Yoga twice a week and do 2 strength training classes once a week which involve cardio

Re: SWR: Working Out

I do cardio 4-5x a week and I weight train 3x a week. You need to do both AND have a clean, healthy diet in order to maintain and lose weight

I work out 6 days a week for about 1 - 1.5 hours each day(I work out the most on weekends). I do at least 20 minutes of cardio each day.

I work out 4 days a week.

I do cardio for 30-40 mins, either runnning, eliptical machine, bicycle, sometimes a step class

then i force myself to do crunches

and then i do 2-3 weight machines.

I have to start going 5-6 days. My wedding is fast approaching and i still have a lot i want to lose

Re: SWR: Working Out

I love cardio - have to get back into weight training - I work crazy hours, and go to school 2 nights a week, plus I work late 2 evenings a week AND work all day on saturday, but I still manage to do cardio 3 days a week - that is, on a good week when I'm not exhausted, some weeks I only manage 1, but it's not bad considering my schedule... Wish I could do more!
