I hate those friggin styrofoam peanuts that EVERY SINGLE WEDDING GIFT we receive is packed with. I just opened a gift and they're literally ALL OVER my dining room, and are sticking to everything through the wonders of static electricity.
They are the worst invention ever, and the bane of my existence...

That's funny. And doesn't it always seem as though they are multiplying? As soon as you take some out of the box, they are just as high as they were before???? Crazy invention!

OMG I know! I work with computers and these people ship computers in them all the time. Those thing conduct static electricity HELLO! Probably NOT something you want to surround sensitive electronic computer equipment with!
I did find a use for it though! I put a few in the bottom of my potted plants so that the water drains out of the bottom of the pot easier.
But besides that, I wish they would be eradicated. They're a blight on the environment like so many other things.

me too and Gabe LOVES to break them into tiny pieces and then they stick to everything! You cant even vacuum them up.

and it is IMPOSSIBLE to get them into a garbage bag... and our garbage guy wont take boxes unless they are flattened!!

Almost as bad were the thousands of little pieces of bridal-related confetti that my Aunt put in my card and present at my shower last Sunday. I was waving my hand over the garbage like a lunatic trying to get the miniscule hearts and umbrellas off my hand.
