~T is for Toasts~

Hey girlies! Sorry I've been ***** for the past few days (I had a virus on my laptop which I was just able to remove this morning - so yeah for having my comp back!).

Your letter of the week is...

T for Toasts!

Are you planning on having toasts at the wedding? Who do you think will give one? Are you going to force your MOH or Best Man to give speeches?

Ughh..viruses s uck!! What have you been doing lately on your laptop Jessie?!?? Happy to hear you got rid of it and that you're back in business!

We're just planning on having a best man toast (FH's brother). If anyone else wants to give a toast then that's fine with us, and if FH's brother doesn't want to give one (which I'm sure wouldn't be the case) then that's fine as well. I wouldn't force anyone to give a toast if they didn't want to give one.

I think we will just have the best man and MOH make a tost but if they dont want to I would never force them to.

I actually blamed FH but he says he wasn't looking at 'anything' - totally don't believe him but whatever... problem has been fixed LOL

As for the toasts, I am not going to force anyone to give a toast if they don't want to. I know FBIL/BM is most likely going to give a toast without us even asking him to do so. As far as my two MOH's, I am not going to force either one. I know one of them, although she would give a pretty good speech, would probably be too shy to make one in front of that many people. The other I think will make one - this was the one I was MOH at her wedding and she said I had no choice I HAD TO give a speech. I really didn't want to b/c I was nervous to speak in front of everyone but I have to say, I made an awesome speech and actually bought everyone in the place to tears (I'll take my bow now LOL)

I'm having the BM and MOH speak. But I have a feeling my FFIL wants to say something too because he's so used to making speeches.

But I think that's it.....

Agreed...i would never want to force anyone to make a speech but i really hope that my MOH and BM will do so.
as far as thanking everyone im sure FH and I will thank our guest and my parents (who are paying for the entire thing) well see what happens : )

The last wedding i went to about 10 people said toasts . it got ridiculous. we sat there for 30 min with all these people just saying toast.
The BM will make a toast at mine and that may be it.
