Table # 1.......

Table # 1.......

Is Table # 1 the head table, or is it the first guest table?
I'm starting to organize all my candleholders and stuff (having absconded from work with 20 boxes over the course of a week), and I've labeled the boxes, but now I'm wondering if I'm putting the right stuff in the box, or if the box for table 1 should have the head table decorations and the guest tables start with #2.

I numbered my tables the way that made the most sense to me. #1 is my parents table. I didn't give the sweetheart table a number. I then gave my hall a diagram of the tables numbered the way I did it. They also are asking for an alphabetical guest list w/each guest's corresponding table. You may want to ask your hall because my BM told me how they usually number the tables after I had already made my table name/numbers-so, she is going to inform the staff of the changes for my wedding.
