Table Arrangments

How is or did everyone organize their seating? Is there some type of program that makes it easy to move people around instead of writing everything out on paper ?

Good Q. It would be easiest to have a board, and everyone's names on magnets, and be able to move everyone around... but that costs $. So I think either I'll do it on Excel (copy/pasting), or write everyone's names on paper, and draw out tables on a large piece of oak tag, and move people around.

fmil wrote it out on paper...i think that i will type everyones names out and cut them out and use paper plates as tablees and just sit and move about. time consuming, but it will give me a good idea of how it will be.

I plan to write everyone's names on little pieces of paper and make pretend tables on oak tag. I hear that planning the seating arrangements is not so much fun...

I gave my FMIL and my parents all the people they invited. gave them a seating chart and said put people in tables and give it back to me by a certain date.

Or you can use the feature here on LIW!!!! Its funny how we have so many features on this site and yet all we do is chat!! I you go to the header above called 'my wedding' they have a feature called invite list. You have to fill that out first. Then you can use the seating chart feature which lets you move the guest around as you wish!!!
