no no cameras for us. i dont think it is worth the money.
I'm kind of leaning this way too. The idea is great, but I've heard of so many instances where the camera never got used, and that guests wound up taking them instead of leaving them for the couple.
I'm only going to leave them out on the table for about 2 hours at the reception. Then my MOH or BM will go around and collect them. I'd rather have empty cameras than them being taken! I am also going to print up 'instructions' to also hint that they are not meant to be taken.

Re: Table Cameras?
How far in advance of the wedding is it OK to buy the cameras?
Does anyone happen to have sample wording for a card to accompany the cameras?

Re: Table Cameras?
i brought ours for 2.65 a peice... while its not a wedding camera with a nice face to it, its highspeed/autoflash (you push button once and it will always flash)/ 27 pic exprosure/ KODAK cameras...
sombody on BHB did a comparison of disposables..just becareful with the non name brands... Fuji and Kodak were the best bets in the brides post.
then you can go get a templete, cut it up and wrap it around the camera to give it a wedding look (i havn't done this yet)

Re: Table Cameras?
ebay...
the seller where i got mine doesnt have any up right now, but shot him a msg and he is quick to answer you
I am gonan try and get the ones with like 15 pics instead fo 24. I think this way Im less likely to have a million extras to fill up and I wont have as many pointless pics
Jen, that's a great idea.

Re: Table Cameras?
Some people love them, but I am definatley NOT having table cameras at my wedding. My sister had them, and the pictures she got from them were ....not worth it.

Re: Table Cameras?
I just bought mine on e-bay. 27 exposure, 400 speed, $2.99 each. I spent about 50 for 16 of them including shipping.
To not get as many pointless pics we are going to do a photo scavenger hunt and attach the photos we want them to look for on the back. I'm sure we'll still get pointless pics but at least we'll get some we want.

I bought mine at staples for like $3 each. I took the yellow cover off, and tied a bow around it like this. No favor tag though.
that is a really good idea I wasn't going to do cameras but now it suddenly sounds like a really good idea

Re: Table Cameras?
Bump for new girls.
I got mine at Costco. Yes they cost a bit more but I was nervous about refurbished ones.
5 cameras, Kodak, 27 exposures, faster flash for $25.
