Does anyone know a cute saying that we can put with the disposable table cameras so people know not to take them?
I was absolutely NOT cold. I did not have a shawl or a jacket. I didn't even wear gloves. You will be fine without it. The A/C is not blasting in these places during the fall. I think you would run more of a risk of being cold in the Summer with the A/C on.
Would you like something different like a reception on a ship check out the Lauren Kristy, which is berthed in Bay Shore or VIP cruises out of Manhattan. I got very reasonable quotes from them for corp. events.
You might also want to think about an elegant brunch following an early ceremony.
The Huntington Townhouse runs ads stating prices begin at $29pp. I don't really know anything about the place, but maybe you want to take a look into it.
The time of year and even day of the event can effect the price. Saturday evenings are most expensive. You might even get the caterer to come down a little, or throw in some extras when you meet with them. Don't be afraid to ask questions.
