Re: Table cameras
Mine were great but I had a daytime wedding. Just make sure you get ones with the flash and hope people dont take pics from too far away. I think theyre worth it. besides you can get them really cheap on ebay.

I'm doing them. I think the kind they make now, the flash goes off automatically.

Same here I'm glad we had them because the tables who took pics of themselves were not photographed by our photographer - so it was perfect.

Re: Table cameras
We did them (with name brand cameras- Kodak) and they came out awesome! I recommend that if you decide to do it, you get a well known brand and not just wedding cameras. I've heard that a lot of the regular wedding camera pics don't come out very good. I have some pics in my album if you'd like to see:
We're doing them. We bought Kodak cameras on same from CVS and they weren't that expensive. I figure even if some pictures some back good, it will be worth the money.

Re: Table cameras
I gotta say.... The table cameras were great!!!! And if you really want an incentive for pictures to be taken... do the scavenger hunt with the cameras. The pictures came out GREAT!!!
We're doing them and we had 5 extra cameras so I made lists of pics I want taken for those 5 cameras. A bunch of my mom's friends agreed to take those pics. That way, if the ones at the table don't look good at least I'll have some pics that I want.

Re: Table cameras
Table cameras were my biggest waste of money for the wedding. We made scavengar hunt cards for all the cameras and out of 19 tables we have less than 30 good pictures, most cameras were not finished and 4 were not even touched. Then to add to that, they were so expensive to develope. JMO

Re: Table cameras
I did the scavenger hunt, and did two per table. I believe all but two cameras were used completely! I think it's worth it.

Re: Table cameras
I had 20 of them. One for each table. Some pic's came out a little dark but for the most part they are the best pic's. Funny as anything. I highly recommend them.

Re: Table cameras
I did them and they are a great idea.
But, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don;t get them on e-bay. We were sold cameras that were presumed to be new, but were really reloaded film. If I could do it again, I would spend the extra money and get the cameras from a store.

Re: Table cameras
Hi, When it comes to the cameras it all depends on your guest. We did them at our wedding which I don't regret doing.
We had a lot of film left in about 4 of the cameras that I did get back.
I had 10 Cameras in all and got back about 7 of them. I didn't have any cards on the table.
My usher told the DJ what I expected all my guest to do with the cameras and he made a very clear and loud announcement but of course most of the people did so, but 3 got away with not putting it back no biggie.
My guest was mostly on the dance floor most of the time so I guess they didn't have time to take pics. (That is why I say it depends on your guest).......
I liked the idea and I am glad I did it. The pictures came out good from the camera that my mom and sister developed the others I have to get today I hope they came out clear as well.
But the cameras is a good idea to have if you want to just look back and laugh at the fun stuff that happen.

Re: Table cameras
We had table cameras. Some of them were very dark, so it might be a good idea to print a direction card with the cameras (something we did not do). However, we did get some good pics, and some really fun, unposed pics. Plus, while we were waiting for our proofs, it was fun to have some photos to look at.
I recommend getting them. We just bought them at a drugstore on sale (Kodak), and I tied ribbon around them to make them more festive.
Oh, one thing. With your prints, I don't recommend getting doubles until you see how they come out. We did this, and it was not worth it overall. Just get copies of any really good shots from the negatives, or scan them.

Re: Table cameras
I got mine off of E-bay. NOT one picture came out well and we ended up not even developing like 4-5 of the cameras.
Although I have seen some come out well...so my suggestion is if you have them, spend the extra few dollars on good ones....
