Re: table cameras
we decided against it in the end b/c of cost too. not only does it cost $ to buy the cameras but also to develop the film. instead we started a shutterfly collection and made little cards for each table asking the guests to upload their digital photos.

Re: table cameras
i used them at my e-party pros and cons
pros - i got some really silly and great pics, people enjoyed taking pictures of us or the people at the table
cons - the pictures came out dark because the flash isnt the best, they werent good quality (not like digital) and i couldnt use them when making an online book of the party (the quality of them were too poor and i even had them put directly on a CD so i would have to scan them)
its really up to you. I liked having all the pictures of other stuff going on, but some people took dumb pictures

Shutterfly?? what do you just set up an accpunt and give the guests the account and password?

Re: table cameras
we did table cameras and we did blank cd's on the tables so that people could send us their digital pics (i had a cute poem thingy in the disc itself).
the table cameras....a lot of the pics are rather random and pretty cool looking!
If you don't have that many tables - consider doing it. We only had 10 tables and at BJ's, my dad picked up the cameras for like 20 bucks or so...

Yeah that is what i am worried about, i know those cameras don`t take the greatest pics and to pay for the developing and 1/2 turing out dark or to just be pics we can`t use/enjoy....i dunno i mean it`s over 100 for the cameras not counting the developing

shutterfly lets you set up a collection with your own url that you can give to your guests and then they just have to log on (with their own account or if they don't have one they can sign up) and upload! i liked it b/c we got to make up our own url with our name in it!

I'm definitely not doing them. I know too many people who have gotten cameras full of inappropriate pictures from drunk boys. I'm not wasting my money on something like that. Plus, most people prefer to use their own digital camera.

Re: table cameras
We're doing it...we decided it was worth it for us. We ordered the cameras through here, and it includes developing:
I didnt do them. From what I've heard, you end up with like one good picture out of the whole roll. Most people bring digital cameras and send the pics anyway

I am not doing them. Most people bring digital cameras & will email you pics right away!! Plus I've heard you spend so much developing all the cameras and don't get many good pics anyways!!

Re: table cameras
we debated this right before the wedding in the end we went against it because the cost and we figured everyone would have a camera anyway! I don't regret it either (as long as my pro pics came out nice lol)

Re: table cameras
i really think i may just skip out on it. i just need to come up with a way to get my email address or something on the tables so that people will send me the pics they take. not everyone has my email address.

Re: table cameras
i got the fuji ones at walmart for like $4.50. it was good - but i only got 10 of the 19 cameras back. and only about 4-5 were full - 3 were completely untouched. so its reallly up to you. my DH wanted it so I did it for him

Thats what I was thinking too.....most people will bring their own camera so you might end up with cameras that are untouched or cameras with 5 pictures on it.

I'm not doing this. The quality of the pictures don't come out as nice and most people have digital cameras that they will be taking pictures with.
