Re: Table cameras? Opinions?
Instead of table cameras, we put a card (like a business card size) at everyone's place setting asking them to upload their photos onto a snapfish account that we created for the wedding and gave them the username and PW. I have heard that the table cameras aren't worth it because no one really uses them and you have to pay to develop them to see if there are any pics worthwhile. Plus, most people have digital cameras now.

I like them. You usally get a bunch of pictures of your guests that your photographer would never take.

Good idea!! i did table cameras at our e-party and it was a waste. The few kids that were there hijacked them and took lots of crappy pics. I had 4 cameras and MAYBE 5 good shots all together.

we are not doing them.. it would cost way too much to have all those rolls developed. . and who knows what kind of pics our guests are going to take.. i have seen so many wasted ones!!

Re: Table cameras? Opinions?
We bought them on theknot.com, paid a little extra, but they post them on the website for you and you get 20 prints free, I think. So much better than having to bring them all to be developed. But, yes, many of our cameras weren't used, and a lot of people didn't use the flash, so there aren't too many that are worthwhile, but some of the photos are GREAT.

I didn't do them. I felt that it would be a waste. My friend did them and said most of the shots came out too dark to see anything clearly. I'd rather just have people send me their digital pics.

I think they are a waste...some people dont take any pictures-some decide to use them as their personal cameras and take them home. I didnt do them for this reason.

MIL wanted to do that but I told her no... instead a lot of people took pictures with their digital and i asked them if they could upload them unto my shutterfly account of just give me a cd with the pics... i got about 400 pics!!!!

We're not doing it.
I just feel like you spend the money for the cameras and for the film to be developed and the pictures aren't anything too great. Just my opinion though.

Re: Table cameras? Opinions?
I have to say, I had 1 photographer and still haven't seen the proofs but I did have zap shots and am so grateful I had these b/c they captured some pics of things I had no idea was going on. If I did not have the zap shots, it's possible I would have had the cameras on the tables but everyone told me not to do it.

Re: Table cameras? Opinions?
We did table cameras, was it worth the $200+ for the cameras and then $100 for developing, maybe. I got some really cute shots and plan to use the couples photos in their thank you cards. So I guesss yeah, just make sure you get a decent camera and I also put a sticker on it that said 'don't forget to use the flash!'

Re: Table cameras? Opinions?
I was going to, but I heard from so many people how poor the quality was. It just sounded like they weren't worth the money. I ended up with well over 500 non-pro pics from various guests' digital cameras.
