with table cameras, you'll get half full cameras with mostly pictures of chairs taken by children.
with photo sharing cards, you'll get high-res pictures from the entire day (from the ceremony too) ... but that's assumign people actually do it.
regardless, i vote photo sharing cards, hands down!

scrap the cameras. no one uses them. people bring their own digital ones. try the photo sharing cards, but Ive heard most people don't upload to your site.

I was toying with this too- but since the cameras are so damn cheap- even if you only get a QUARTER of salvagable pics, its worth it.
I've been to ones with the sites, everyone loses the slip of paper or forgets to do it.

I vote NEITHER for this reason (even though that's not an option!)

I feel like that people who have digital cameras will put them on Facebook and you'll see them that way... so if you definitely want to do one over the other maybe table cameras.

Photosharing cards!!!
It's cheap to make them like business cards off Vistaprint.
You can have people upload to something like snapfish.com and you can make albums, create magnets, and more!

photo sharing cards. we did this and got about 400 extra pictures. also the cards were free from vistaprint so it didnt cost me a dime
with cameras you will get - the same pictures over and over -obscene wasted pictures from silly guests -footing the bill to develop the pics only to be dissappointed -fuzzy bad quality pics -a headache of being sure to bring the cameras and remembering to collect them at the end of the night

Re: table cameras or photo sharing cards
We did cards and so far 4 people have uploaded pics, not to mention the 200 facebook pics.
I also plan on putting the cards in with the thank you notes and hopefully get some more.
Our cards cost $15 on VistaPrint and everyone got a kick out of them.
