Okay... so my vision is that my favors will have the cardstock labels on them, all lined up (as in the picture below)... and on those labels will be our monogram with our guests' names and table informations written over the shadowed monogram. So, in the monogram example below, it would have our guests' names and Table #orName instead of the date. (The example is from creativemontage.som... our initials would be sCj).
I mean... should I print all the monograms out on cardstock, and then have a calligrapher write the guests' names and table #'s/names?
Or should I print all the monograms on cardstock, and then somehow feed it through the printer again to print everyone's names on each one? I HATE computers! I need someone to hold my hand through this! lol
In theory, I love it. The reality scares the crap out of me!

I love it! I think that you could either print out the entire label yourself or have the calligrapher write in the guest names and table numbers.

Re: Table Cards... what do you think?
Thank you... ya think it would be cheesy if I just wrote the names myself over the muted monogram? I have pretty nice handwriting...

Re: Table Cards... what do you think?
If you get the monogram in a JPEG format - you can easily type over it in word ... or a more advanced program like photoshop, or quark express ... just do it on the computer - and print it, and its less stressful!

Re: Table Cards... what do you think?
Interesting... do you know how to get that 'muted' look to the monogram, if I decided to do it myself. This is a monogram I made, and I guess I can just plug guests' names into a text box in word and do it like that? But I don't know how to get that shadow, background effect on WORD. (I don't have those other two programs... I stink at computers. lol. I think I've mentioned that a million times in this post!)

yes - insert the image in word - and then double click on it ... then go to the option so that you can write over the image

this is all Greek to me. So, do I need to insert a text box over the image?
Also, how do I get that 'background' effect in the monogram, where it's almost like a shadow instead of a bold font?
(thanks... )

To make it easier for you, you should print out the card stock with the guests names already included.
