I know there are a bunch of girls on here that decided to 'name' their tables rather than do numbers. Could you please tell me what your ideas are? I brought it up to my FH and he is trying to narrow down the ideas...so far we really only have three...

Do you have a theme? Like if your theme were 'fall', then you could do names of trees (like 'Oak', 'Evergreen', 'Maple', etc).

Oh wait, I just saw that you're getting MARRIED in the Bahamas (I thought for a second it was your honeymoon only)...
How about things associated with the beach?? Like 'Sand', 'Sun', 'Palm Trees', etc... is that too cheesy?

We had a champagne/vineyard theme and named the tables after different champagnes, wines and wine regions. Here is a pic of my DIY table cards.
No real theme here. It's a destination wedding - so anything 'beachy' would be good. The girls will have coral chiffon tea length dresses, the guys in tan suits (i think).

I think doing something associated with the beach or the islands is a great idea. I was thinking about doing differnt values or emotions, etc. Ex. Table of Love, Table of Passion, Table of Honesty. I'm undecided.

well I usually associate the beach with yummy frozen cocktails...maybe you can have a pina colada table, strawberry daiquiri, etc

usually your names go with the theme for your whole wedding...i'm having a heart theme, so my table names are going to be words like: love, bliss, sweethearts, etc.

I almost spit out my lunch becayse I laughed outloud at that!!
We are having our cards made in stark white with a double tiffany blue trim, our names above on top of card with our wedding date then we are doing the Florida Keys: Lovers Key is our Table and the other keys, there are so many, Long Boat Key, Dolphin Key, Pelican Key....you get the idea and below the table name will be a table number , this way its easier for the wait staff.

hey i just did the Buffett songs and posted our table cards a couple days ago! goes with our whole theme
any of these ideas are great, but my fav is the cocktail idea!

So far I love your ideas. Our theme is Ireland. So we are naming our tables after counties in Ireland. We are using the counties the family is from for their table name and stuff!
Love all your DIY's ! Great job. I'm partial to the Buffett songs but not everyone will know the songs. I like the drinks or the 'love' names the best.
