I would like to use names instead of numbers for my reception tables. I am looking for words or poems associated with love, marriage etc. I would like to give each table a name like 'love' and then have a short poem or quote underneath. Does anyone know where i can find something like this or any ideas?
ETA: I think I came up with something found some famous quotes about love and i am naming my tables things like, LOVE, LAUGH, HONESTY, etc and have included a famous quote under. Let me know what you think:
Shakespearean sonnets, Pablo Neruda was so eloquent with love in his poetry, Those chicken soup for the soul type bookss...

I like it, i just wouldnt put who quoted it at the bottom.

I agree about not putting the name at the bottom. I was just testing it out. (copy and paste).
I also LOVE the idea of love in the different languages. I'm actually online looking for them now.

I am doing the same thing!!! I found alot of quotes by just google-ing Honesty quotes Passion quotes etc etc I have some if you need help! I am getting stuck on the names- i have alot of table and am running out of ideas- what names are you using?

I only have like 8 tables so I have so far:
Love, Honesty, Hope, Trust, Unity, Respect, Laughter, Honor and Affection.
I was thinking of changing the top part to make it say Love is...then list one of these and have the quote under. I'm still playing with it. I need some more names so I could see which I like better. Can you fm some of your names and quotes or tell me where I can find quotes for the different names.

LoL... I feel the same way. I'm actually at work too. I'm doing this from my blackberry b/c these cheapos don't want to give us internet access but I guess I understand why...just look at what I'm doing now :lol

I love these ideas. I am not nearly close to this stage of planning yet, however, whenever I think of something unique to do for my wedding, this is one of the first things that come to mind because its not over the type and is just really nice, lol. Thanks!
