table number ...need ur opnions

ok so fh an i r having custom number table signs made through diseny...each table has a graphic of a diff disney ride....now our dilemma is do we have th pics and still have numbers underneath or do we have the graphic and name the table after the ride..

where would u rather sit..tabe 1 or tabe splash mountain?

im just afraid naming after the ride some people will think is corny or tacky

I would do it by number instead of ride. Or maybe you could make it like 'Table 1 - Splash Mountain' but only list it at Table 1 on the placecards? I feel like there definitely has to be a number involved though, but that is just my opinion!

i'm on the fence... part of my thinks there needs to be a number and the other part of me would be THRILLED to sit at splash mountain!!!! sorry i'm no help!

I like the idea of naming the tables instead of numbering them. I am probably doing that too because the last thing I need is people getting offended for being seated at table 18... and believe me, it WOULD happen at my wedding!

ITA, alot of your older guests might be like whattttt is Splash mountain?? So go with the numbers also.

I like this idea. I was at a wedding where the tables were named and it was a little confusing trying to find the tables.

Personally I did the names because I think it looks nicer than numbers... (I did love, honestly, etc).

I made disney invites... you can probably do these yourself if you find graphics ... I found my mickey and minnie graphic online

I think I like the names better... but I would check with your RH too bc sometimes they need to have a number on there so the waiters know which table is which. So maybe doing both would be best.

I thought of doing pictures with different places where FH and I had been and using that to identify the tables, but my father said it was too much like a bar mitzvah and outright refused that I do it that way. So we're going with the traditional numbering.

If you and your FH love the named tables and no one important in your family objects, I say go for whatever makes you happiest. If every time table Splash Mountain or Dumbo comes up that day you're going to smile joyously, by all means, that's a great way to go!

I would LOVE to sit at Splash Mountain as well and would totally love the idea.... but anything different causes confusion

I can see people saying 'Huhhhh Splash Mountain... What's that?' LOL! Maybe add the number along with the name? How does it look?

You could do characters too. . that might be more familiar to everyone but then I guess you have the same issue where do people want to sit at cinderella? You could do the pictures of characters/rides and the number on top. . or way more complicated but you could do numbers and then pics associated with the numbers. . like 1 Steamboat willie first character ever or somethin

being a disney fanatic I would love to sit at table with the name of a ride. I think that it is a personal touch being that you are a disney fanatic also!!!!
