is anyone making their own table numbers? (the ones at my catering hall are ugly; so I want to make my own) If so, how are you doing it? I am thinking of just buying heavy stock paper and using a fat gold pen; calligraphy numbers. Any other ideas?

Re: Table numbers
I doing table names (named after champagnes and wines)..what I plan on doing is writing the name in a nice script font, printing on a heavy ivory toned paper stock (not card stock) and inserting them into a 5 x 7 gold trimed picture frame.

Re: Table numbers
We took pictures of different bodies of water and then printed them out and put them in cheap black, wood frames that I got at AC Moore.

Yes East Wind saved me on this one. But I think that I will still name the table.

Re: Table numbers
I bought these tiny steel buckets (about 1 1/2 inches in diameter) for an aborted project. I'm thinking I can use them as a base for the table #'s.... not sure how yet

Re: Table numbers
I did table names -- named each table after a place that is special to FH and I in some way. We took a pic of each place and glued it to pink and white cardstock (those are our colors).
