table numbers ??

table numbers ??

im trying to figure out my table numbers, and i said i need 14 pictures for my 14 table numbers...

then my mom said, 'why do you need 14 table numbers? arent two of your tables for the bridal party? they dont need numbers!'

sooooo NOW IM CONFUSED and so is she....

Do you put a number on the two tables that will be used for the bridal party?????? If so, are they tables '1' and '2'???

Im jus confused cuz i thought that they get numbers, but then i thought that the Parents of the Bride/Groom are at tables #1 and #2? So this would conflict...

but i dont want to NOT assign seats for my bridal party, i dont want them sitting wherever they want...

PLEASE HELP!!

Are you having 1 big dais (sp) where your BP will be sitting? then you dont need tables #'s If they are sitting amongst the guests then I would say yes, But the parents tables should be #1 and 2

Yes and No

FH and I are at our own table....BUT the bridal party tables are on either side of our table...and THEN the other tables are after those....

so its like, they definitely have their own tables...but they are up front with our table...

i feeeelllllll like they should have numberss.....

didnt kno if anyone would know like a STRICT ettiquite!! LOL

yaaa im gonna.....

i jus heard from someone on the BHB board that i should number my tables according to how my RH does it...

cuz thats how they know how to set the room up (# of chairs at each table, etc) so that way we'll all be onthe same page later on....

didnt think of that! so im gonna call my BM to find out their floor plan/table numbers

Yes they must have table numbers, and yes they should be according to what your RH says. That's how they designate your waiters, by table number.

i had planned on numbering each table regardless who is sitting at it...

Give them numbers... it'll keep everything in order. I would think it would be weird if they didn't have placecards, how would they know where to go. You would have to tell them in advance and then hope the remember... people forget everything!!!

i would still give them numbers, everyone expects a table number so if your bp doesnt see their name with a number next to it it might cause some unnecessary confusion
