table numbers ideas

i need suggestions for table number ideas...i was wondering what you girls did...post your pics if you have

I am ordered these, which match the seating card holders. They are all hand made by an ebay vendor

eta: my only change is that I am writing out the table number so it will say 'twelve'

What is your theme? Or you could use e-pics, or your pets if you have any...I had a seashell theme and I made seashell table numbers (pics in my DIY album).

I don't really have a 'theme'..I mean we are getting married in the Fall and the flowers are all fall colors. There really isnt much more 'fall' things.. we are giving out bottles of wine for favors.. maybe I can incorporate fall leaves into the table numbers?! hmmmmm

I remember the table numbers being a bit of a hassle for me. I wanted the reception to be so much more than a fun party, but rather something intimate that expressed how happy me & dh were to be together. So i opted to use some of our engagement photos for the table numbers. Kinda something to make it more personal

Mimacat (NW board) used squirrels as her theme....she also had a fall wedding. Maybe check her album for pics of her table numbers...I think her placecard holdes were squirrels too.

I actually searched 'place card holders' on ebay, found similar place card holders that I purchased and on her site saw these as well.

Searching general description of 'table numbers' or 'table number holder' may work too!!

thanks I liked 'em a lot. It was a DIY project that my sister put together for me and I think they came out really nice.

I was planning to use our pics from our engagement shoot, and I was thimking of having the table number, plus having a word on each one that makes up the meaning of marriage. For example, one may be Faith, Love, Trust, Devotion etc.

Not 100% sure, but its a possibility. I wanted to think of something creative.

aw, I like that. i had originally wanted to have a different short love quote on each one (I'm really into quotes - I think they're sweet). But it just didn't work out.

I just don't know if I can think of 15-20 different Love/Marriage Theme words....I am still thinking!

I was even thinking of special places we visited....and maybe write a little something, a memory of that place. For instance we visited Key West, Montauk, the place we had our first date etc.

I did numbers according to ages like table 6....us at age 6.

since my wedding was at a vineyard, I named the tables after wines.

my theme was gold and ivory and i found these gold/ivory frames at michaels.
