Table runners...

Hi all,

I met with our florist today, and as we're keeping the centerpieces very simple (5 small bowls of hydrangea and another flower), he suggested an organza table runner to run the length of the oval table (on an ivory damask tablecloth). I've always loved this look (so spring garden-y), and I did a quick search online, but I can't seem to find what I want.

Any suggestions for this sort of thing? I've gotten some great links and resources on here before, and I'm hoping someone on here will know of a secret source. I only need about 9 or 10.

Well for the past two weeks ive been searching for chocolate brown table runners and had the hardest time getting them, so i ended up going to midtown where theres one fabric store one next to another and bought the fabric and will do the table runners myself.

There are stores that sell them but ive seen table runners for about $150-200 each and higher...Some people said target has table runners for $20 but not sure if they'll have what you are looking for. It does sound nice what you want to do

I was thinking of doing table runners too.....but maybe having my mom sew them also.

how many table runners are you making? do you mind me asking how much the fabric cost you? or what kind of fabric you ended up getting? thanks! brown is our color too, with champagne

You dont even have to sew it, its the most amazing thing lmao but seriously i was amazed...The guy at the fabric store showed me...He cut a little on top and you just pull it and it comes out PERFECTLY no strings hanging or anything, it was crazy lol. I bought 20 yards and paid $217, i thought it would be cheaper lol but eh what can you do

No its not that bad, but i am already going overboard for the e-party hahaha...Hmmm i dont know what it is, i just looked and picked it out, it looks a bit shiny but i said no silk...Go on 39th street between 7th and 8th ave, theres a bunch of fabric stores there
