table runners

table runners

Hey fellow Brides!
I am having my wedding at Chateau Briand and was thinking of having damask table runners. Has anyone done this there and have any experience with what size the runner would need to be or how it looks??

Re: table runners

We're gonna be real good friends. I was damask crazy at my wedding.

Anywho, originally we were going to sew our own runners. And we did sew 4 of them, then went back for more fabric from Joann's to find out it had been discontinued.

So we wound up using one of our runners for the sweetheart table and the other two were SUPPOSED to be for the candy buffet but they didn't put them out.

As for the regular tables, we rented runners from La Flor Design. They were really good! They were reasonably priced, the dropped the runners off to my parent's house and then picked them up from the RH at the end of the night. We had to put down half the total cost for a security deposit, which we lost because a candle knocked over and burnt one of the runners. I felt like we were overcharged but since they picked up the runners at the end of the night, we didn't get to see them so we really didn't know how bad the damage was. (Though a guest tells us it wasn't bad at all!)

Despite that, I'd still probably rent from them again. Check them out here!

Yes ma'am! So cheap right?! So it was $63 total and then a $31.50 security deposit. I actually thought the security deposit was $63, so now I feel kinda bad saying they overcharged us for the burnt runner! Sorry La Flor!
