table seating cards

table seating cards

How are you doing your table seating cards?

ie, are you printing directly on the card? Are you printing on a label and putting it on the card? Are you having them professionally done?

Our hall provides free blank cards, so I feel silly spending extra money to purchase custom done ones... but I'm not sure how/if I can print the names and table numbers directly on the card, and I don't really love the look of the labels... it seems much sleeker printed directly on the card, and everything else is so upscale...

anyway, what are you all doing? if you're printing right on the card, how are you doing it?

I will writing the names on the place cards with a gold gel pen. You can get them in Michael's Arts and Crafts in the scrapbooking section in a number of colors. We are putting the place cards on pumpkin place card holders. If you have any other questions please FM us.

I am going to do mine on the computer. I think it will be easier. They have alot of nice fonts you could use.... if you are into the calligraphy look they have several of those fonts to pick from also. Otherwise if you really want to write them yourself I would definitely buy a nice gold/silver/black marker and use to give it an extra touch.

well, no, I really don't want to write them by hand... but I'm not sure how to do it on the computer and put the little card in the printer and have it print out right? I'm not great with computers and printers.

Are the ones your hall gave you tent style or no? If they are try this website and see if the template will work for you.

seating card

scroll down the page to reception and click on taqble card template and see if that would work.

Otherwise I would go to Michael's and buy their package of place cards. They are actually pretty cheap. The package will have a website with a template to use. It is actually very simple.

that looks like it's a sheet of cards... the ones I have are just individual cards, which is why I'm not sure how to do it.

oy. I might just have to spend money on them... I just don't want to waste money where I don't have to.

the ones they sell in stores arent too expensive or you could just use regular cardstock and cut and fold them yourself.

Also, you might be able to load them individually like you would with smaller envelopes. If not, at least you tried!

We bought ours at staples and printed them off on the computer, it was pretty simple. It came with a template and only a few bucks

Have you considered sticking them on little pinecones or pumpkins?
