Table Seating Chart VS Table Cards?

I was thinking about doing a table seating chart instead of the table cards.

I wanted input. I feel the seating would be great but would everyone be like all around it trying to figure out there seat?

(All I can picture is a crowd)

What is your opinion?

Is anyone else doing one?

I fear that it will crowded so I am doing the table cards. Also its one less expense out of my pocket. I'm not going to have use for the chart after the wedding.

I am definitely doing the chart...I'm going to have 2 set up. I'm doing a vintage theme weddings so I'm using 2 antique window frames, making the seating charts myself and putting them on the other side of the glass, I will have use for the window frames after the wedding, I'm going to put pictures in them.

I am doing the table cards...I feel the seating chart area would get too crowded and it is more expensive. I am DIY the the cards myself and adding a rhinestone to them to make them look pretty

I think the chart will be too crowded, and by the end of cocktail hour my friends will be too drunk to remember.

I am doing table cards. I designed tickets which are modeled off of Mets Tickets. Now I just have to figure out a way to display them!

Any ideas?

maybe enveolpes?????? like when you go the box office they put them in an eveolope?

That can work but then how present the envelope?
The only other idea I thought of is have a metal board which I cover with cloth and have magnets to hold the card.

make abox office type window or area and have people go up to someone

i like the idea of the chart! i think either way people are crowded around b/c with the place cards ppl are hunting for their card!

i am doing escort cards for people when they first walk into the reception and look for their name and pick up the card the card will be attach with a snow flake stand and they will also get to sign the guest book and look at my Channa Plaque
