my sister had 450 ppl at her wedding. She walked to every table and sd hello - those who stopped to talk, she talked to, but mostly ppl say hello you look beautiful ... and thats it.

I think its very rude to not say hi to everyone that attends your wedding (and usually spend alot of money to buy or give you a monetary gift)... That doesnt mean go table to table, but at some point say hi and thank you to everyone....
Yes you are supposed to enjoy your wedding, but imagine giving a few hundred dollars to a bride and groom and not even having them say hello to you...
I think all of your 'rules' will change once it happens to you! It's easy to have ideas now, but trust me, as a bride, that day things change. Sometimes it's impossible to say hi to every single person.
We had a receiving line, went to the cocktail hour, went around to tables, had about 100 guests and STILL didn't make it to every single guest.

Re: Table to table etiquette?
we only have an hr to from the church to the reception and its 45 min apart. so we can't really have a receiving line (how do you cut that out?) then we have to take pics during the whole cocktail hr (I have never seen the bride and groom at the cocktail hr. is that weird) so I guess that means I have to go table to table at the reception. but I really want to dance and have fun. does it really take that long to go over to each table and say hi?

Re: Table to table etiquette?
this is why you should definitely go to the CH.
we had a small wedding and we still felt like we were constantly mobbed at our sweatheart table. everyone wants to talk to the bride and groom, that's just the way it is.
if you don't make rounds, do not feel bad about it! I have been to plenty of weddings where the & didn't make rounds. We didn't either.
