anyone have names/themes for each of their tables instead of just numbers? if so, what are they? just trying to get ideas! thanks!!!

We are thinking of having names. Our ideas include: -Street names we've lived on (we've both moved a lot) -Places we've visited -Activities we love -I went a party once and they had gone around and taken pictures at various locations and had them....so we're thinking of a DC theme since thats where we live now..ie me and FH in front of various buildings, statues, etc.

I'm from New York and he's from Boston so we are doing street names. Ex: Park Ave. and Commonwealth Ave., Broadway and Newbury St.

We were toying around with naming tables also.. We are getting married at the Carlyle which overlooks Bethpage Black. We had already planned to give out personalized golf tees and golf balls (both families are filled with 'duffers') So I thought it might be cute (but not tooooo cute) to name the tables after famous golf courses... Just an idea for now.. but it's growing on me.

Kiddo, we're naming our tables after famous courses! I thought I had this awesome idea, but I think a lot of Carlyle brides are doing it. LOL, too funny. I'm having sketches done of one hole of that course, with the name of the course on the bottom. I don't want it to be an all golf theme, but we'll prob have the personalized golf balls and tees too. Also, our STD's are going to be Black Course Score Cards, with the wedding info filled in instead of scores. FH is very into all this golf stuff!

I want to but FH doesn't. I was thinking about naming the places after places we have traveled to together. I like that idea. I also thought about naming the tables after our favorite songs.
