I just sent my Rd invites through facebook and e-mail. I will be calling all of the non-internet users tomorrow.. Is this wrong?

i think thats fine. I got regular invites from CVS and sent those, they were pretty casual.

I did the same thing, its efficient. I never thought it was takcy, the 2 RD's I've been to didn't even have invites, just word of mouth

Thanks ladies. Seeing all the talk on here about formal invites I got nervous.

i got an evite for my friends 'thank you' dinner. it's just easier, as long as everyone checks their email!

I love it!
I wish I could do this, but my guests wouldn't understand it. They are still expecting wedding invites like in the old country.
Like really old school... really really ... like there is no paper... and the brides family goes door to door to invite you.
Too bad they are getting paper, I wish I could do invites on the net, I'd do a whole flash animation :D
