One of our registries is Macys.... is it tacky or helpful to add a small/discreet link to THIS (Friends/family coupon) on the registry page of our wedding website? I'd love to save people money but don't want people to think it's tacky or be offended.

Honestly, not saying that I didnt register I did , but if you really wany yo think about it , isn't it tacky to even register? We are telling people what to buy us.
I think putting a coupon on your website is fine. I think people will find it helpful.

I agree that registering is a bit obnoxious but it's custom enough where if people are OK with it, I'll go ahead and do it!
I just wanted to make sure before adding it, and the first few votes were split evenly so I was wondering maybe if I wasnt thinking it through
I'm going to put it up for now and then keep an eye on the poll. I dont know if people even look at my wedding website anymore, but I figured it could only help?

who cares if anyone else thinks its tacky???you are doing your guests a favor by helping them save $$$$ if people dont wanna use the coupon they wont!! if they do thats what its there for!!! I would love if someone did that for me! then i wouldnt have to search online for a coupon! I say go for it!

Well, I'm definitely more honest in a poll -- if I dont have something nice to say I usually don't comment but I might vote
But, majority rules here
Edit: btw, this coupon doesn't exclude coach (most do) so I might look into BM gifts... I was hoping to swing by the outlet in riverhead when i'm home but if there's a new style out that i like this is the time to get it

definitely helpful. you're putting it on your website, it's not like you're emailing it directly to them. I get stressed with my macys registry because stuff always goes on and off sale and I'm always like I hope they didn't pay full price!!!
