since we are going to Vegas and it is notorious for cheesy weddings i have a tiny concern. im owwried about pictures. my chapel takes 12 'profesional' pics, but i dont know.... i was thiking of having my friend (who is a photographer) possibly take some great shots of us after we come back. (with our wedding clothes, some shots with the dogs, etc) just b/c im afraid i wont like my pics....
is this dumb b/c they wont really be from he wedding>? i just want some nice ones in our wedding attire

I don't think its dumb. It is not like you are always going to prance around the house in wedding attire. I would take the pics @ your house especially if you don't like the ones from Vegas.

Why don't you take pics in Vegas, the professional ones, and ask your freind to take some more when you guys get home? You can't lose that way :)

I definitely do not think its dumb. I'm actually have some of the best photographers on Long Island take my pics but I'm also asking my brother in law to do the same because he takes some amazing photojournalistic shots that I don't ever see.
