TADA!! My first fitting is done! 1st fitting pics are up!
Ok so i had my first fitting. And my first FREAK OUT!!
My mom and I had an arguement about the dresses construction. She wanted it looser and less structured and I wanted the seamstress to do what she felt was right. BECAUSE THE SEAMSTRESS IS THE SEAMSTRESS FOR A REASON!!!
Well I haven't freaked out in 2 yrs over this wedding. I was soooooooo stressed about my dress and how my mom carried on that I literally broke down and cried. But I love my dress and I'm so happy the seamstress was a strong woman and told my mom that the dress will be altered to my likeing not hers.
My mom means well, but it put me over the edge. And thank god my bm allison was there b/c I would've became an animal and flip. I'll have you know that today is the first day since Friday that I haven't cried over that fitting. But I just looked at the pics and I love it.

Im so sorry about your mom. I remember you writing about not wanting to bring your mom to the fitting. Im glad the seamstress had your back. Try to ignore your mom. Like you said, she means well but probably comes off wrong.
