TaDaaa..........my scrap area is ready! Pics!!!

Ok, it's not LisaRose's killer craft room by any stretch of the imagination, but it's a lot better than the kitchen table!
This is a very inexpensive piece of home office furniture that has been moved into every room in our house, most recently my stepdaughter's room.
She was using it as a desk, but she mostly had it filled with junk-we got her a new desk.

and now...drum roll please.....




Since my stepdaughter only lives with us part time(and I do most of my scrapping when she not home) it's perfect!
I still have a few more things I'd like to add to it but I couldn't wait to show you guys!!
What do you think? Rich thinks I'm a genius!

I usually just lurk over here but I have to say - Wow! It looks great. I bet having an area just for crafts makes it more fun and inviting. I have lots of crafts stuff in a big box. It was pretty organized till we moved and now its kind of a wreck. I like the spice jar rack idea too.

I have eyelets & brads & beads in the spice rack, got it for $4.99 brand new on ebay!
I also ordered a paper tray & I have more storage stuff for the peg board that I need to put up. It holds everything I have right now & when it swings open I have two surfaces to work on-those that have cropped with me know I like to spread out

that is great!!!!!!!! I am jealous
all my craft stuff is in a underbead rubermaid storage box. I cant wait to get organized into something liek that projects will be so much easier then croaching on the floor.

I'm with Rich, Kelly...you are a genius to have multi-tasked the space like that! Everything looks great! I have to admit...I laughed at seeing the spice rack, b/c I have the same one...except that mine is filled with spices, not eyelets!

I have to admit, I'm jealous. I love your scrap station. I'm rather new to scrapbooking, and so far my meager collection of materials is just sitting in a large plastic shopping bag. I need some sort of storage container, preferably one that doesn't take up too much room. Any suggestions?
