taffetta dresses?

did anyone have bridesmaids dresses in a iridescient taffeta material?

The material is shiny- and like a two tone color. Just Looking at it, I was wondering how that shows up in pics? I noticed in one taken at the store- its shiny in spots. mom's friend mentioned the same issue about the glare in photos/

I guess a good photographer will fix that issue. but anyone have the same issue or dealt with this?

I was going to go with a taffetta dress... but then decided not to because of the way it looked shiny in pics. I dont know if photographers can fix that- if thats how the dress is especially made.... but I decided to go with a different material - Im pretty sure silk. I didnt want to chance it and then hate the pics forever lol
