Never. Unless there is a defect, it is disgusting and appalling. It is okay to be honest and return it if something is wrong. But just because you are bored of it-nope. It is unfair to other purchasers.

I have personally never done this. I wanted to say that I used to work at j crew and we would take back ANYTHING! I once had to take back a sweater that the customer complained was discolored. It had soap on it-like laundry detergent. We actually ran it under the sink. Obviously it was not resold but people do it.

And I used to work in retail, many eons ago.

When a customer does this, we figure it out and have to pull it. It becomes a loss for the store. Enough of these and the costs get passed to you, the consumer. It is a form of stealing.
