I'm thinking a Tahiti cruise but who knows what will happen from now until we book. But so far French Polynesia is the plan.

you know what else sounds GREAT and i would love to do this cruise one day, the european cruises sound amazing

They are so many amazing things to do. I was talking about doing something like that with FH this passed weekend too. We have lots of ideas. Some much more affordable than others. but we still have plenty of time to decide. The problem is neither us have been anywhere and probably will never have the chance to vacation like this again. We'll see what happens. When is a good time to talk to a TA anyway?

Yeah the cruise is a great way to see many places on one trip...some places you dont stay at too long, but its still fun.

Well if you want just to get an idea you can talk to a TA now

Reading some of your posts you seem to be into travel. beach: What were some of your favorites?:

We went to Bermuda last summer and it was AMAZING. We were thinking to make that our anniversary spot, but don't want to go there on our honeymoon since we were just there. The whole country was just amazing and the people were so nice, I wish I could move there.

We rented those scooters and just drover around the country and I loved that the whole island was beautiful. Other places that we have been to like the Bahamas and Dominican Republic you can't really leave your resort because the countries aren't safe (we tried leaving!). In Bermuda we just took off and toured the whole island and all of the people that lived there were so friendly and gave us the history on the island. Not to mention the beaches are fantastic and just talking about it now is making me want to book another trip there. LOL.

really in bahamas? i went to the bahamas and i thought it was real safe...we left and walked around and all the town people were real nice...also the club at our resort or the resorts around during the week were boring so we called a cab and went to the local town to a bar, we were the only tourists there and everyone was real nice and there were no problems at all...I seriously thought the locals in the bahamas were the nicest people

The bahamas you can leave the resort but only really the main part of town is safe. Around where all the shops are. We tried to leave that one part and it wasn't really safe.

We went way past the shops, there were no hotels or anything around there like that, otherwise we wouldve just walked it. Plus like i said we were the only tourists in there, it was all locals so it was no where near the resorts...guess it was a good part of town? i dont know lol

Re: TAHITI!

I'm curious as to where everyone went (as far as travel agent) and got quoted anything less than $10k for tahiti? Because I've gone to 2 different travel agents so far and was quoted $12k at one and $13k at the other

Those prices included:
- Nonstop airfare to and from Tahiti
- All island to island flights
(1) Night in Tahiti (garden view room)
(4) Nights in Moorea (beach bungalow)
(5) Nights in Bora Bora (overwater bungalow)

Can you post your package details and possibly your travel agent phone # for me, thanks I really appreciate it!

*BIG WAVE BACK* Ok thanks alot Denise...that's really good to hear because when I got those quotes my dream of honeymooning in tahiti were practically crushed We were ready to spend a lot BUT then after we factor in having to pay for food, souvenirs, excursions on top of that then it's WAY out of our league

no problem, theres definitely packages out there for less...and also things to do to cut costs...for example in tahiti youre usually there just a day, so its not worth it to get the overwater bungalow there, get a garden view or whatever type hotel...but ill send you the number later

Hey Denise,
Do you mind sending me the info too? I'd like to meet with a TA and gather ideas and I'd also like a solid idea of how much this is all going to cost. TIA.
