good question!!! I am picking up our itinerary tomorrow. I think intercontinental in Tahiti and bora bora nui or something like that. Maybe bora bora lagoon...same island of bora bora i should get with it!!!

Haven't been yet (going soon), but I heard the following things were great in Bora Bora (don't know about Tahiti).
1) Shark/Stingray feeding - a must. 2) 4x4 Island Tour. 3) the Lagoonarium (swim with sharks and other sea life etc.). 4) Sunset Cocktail cruise aboard the Taravana. 5) if you can afford it, a private motu picnic - supposed to be great - guy takes just the two of you to a private motu, cooks you lunch, includes snorkeling, etc. Heard Keishi Tours was good.
For restaurants - heard Top Dive was excellent and Bloody Mary's, while touristy, is a must see.

Yes Top Dive is great and Bloody Mary's is a must, it was very good too. Do the half day Shark feeding and snorkeling - they take you to the Lagoonarium in that tour. We stayed at the Bora Bora Lagoon Resort and it was absolutely amazing!!
