Anyone been there? That's my dream but I have no idea about the price, how long the flight is, etc. I will do a search for it to look for reviews, but if anyone has any other input, I'd love to hear it! TIA!

Go to the 'Honeymoon' forum. There is a very long thread on Tahiti and Frenah Polynesia.
In a nut shell, it is basically paradise on earth. The non stop flight from JFK is 12 hours, and you should budget anywhere between 7K and 10K for the trip.
