Tahiti Honeymoon Help!

Tahiti Honeymoon Help!

Hi ladies!

We are looking to book our honeymoon to Tahiti & Bora Bora for early September 2008! Wondering if anyone has any advice or good travel-agents to recommend who specialize in Tahiti vacations.

We would really like to extend the trip as long as possible and our only real requirement is that we get to stay on one of the over the water bungalows in Bora Bora for at least 3 nights. Our budget is pretty modest. We don't want to spend more than 7k total with taxes... not sure if this is feasible esp at the peak times, but definitely thought I'd ask the ladies on LIW for some feedback on your experiences.

Thanks in advance for your help!!

:)

Read my review!

I highly recommend Claudia from Pacific for Less.

You can always play around with room choices in Moorea (garden bungalow is cheaper than beach bungalow, etc) to fit your budget.

If the $7k is for just hotel and airfare, I think it will be feasible. You might be able to stay for a week, would that work?

Re: Tahiti Honeymoon Help!

We spent 1 night in Tahiti, 3 nights in the Moorea Pearl resort, beach bungalow, 6 nights in Bora Bora Pearl resort, overwater bungalow.

Our price included airfare, hotels, and any interisland transportation... as well as a free canoe breakfast in our OWB in bora bora! and travel insurance.

I'll FM you the exact numbers

I was just going to say that--I totally recommend Claudia from Pacific-for-less
on top of that, she sent me and FH a present from Tiffany & Co. for booking our honeymoon with her.
her prices by far beat any other travel agents I quoted. I got such a great deal with Claudia, she's a vendor Rave!

I am working with Claudia as well. She is great, had the best price and had the most helpful advice for saving time and money.

Hi- also price check liberty travel. That is who we booked with. At the time they gave us the best price from everyone else I checked.

We stayed at the pearl resorts and the intercontinental thallasso which both were terrific. I saw some reviews with the st. regis and those rooms are incredible (it was being built while we were there)

Good luck!!
