Tahitian HM-

FH and I want to go to Tahiti, Boro Boro and Moorea on our honeymoon. Anyone know how to get good package deals? Any suggestions of type of excursions to take?

We will be booking Tahiti for our HM in June.
One thing you should be aware of is to try to get a package that includes most meals. The food and drinks are supposed to be very expensive so you're better paying more up front to include meals, instead of any surprise large bills at the end of your HM. I will probably use Tahiti Legends because they have prices with and without food , and break it down by hotels category. Their honeymoon brochure breaks everything down for you, and the price includes some excursions.

We booked 2 weeks Bora Bora and Moorea, no Tahiti with over the water bungalows on both island. I think we did pretty good price, if you want info FM me. We did ours through Liberty Travel.

FH and i booked a 12 day cruise to six of the taihetian islands including morea, bora bora tahiti, ratonga, raitea, etc.. on princess cruise lines. it pretty much hits every island for two days. we booked it through cruise one and got the best price out of all the research we did.

If you book with the same hotel chain on all the islands, sometimes you can get a discount. We booked with Pearl Resorts for Taha'a, Moorea and Bora Bora and saved like 8%. It helps a little.

We are doing a 10 day cruise and 5 days on the islands in a bungalow.

I agree to try to get a package with your meals included. The cruise includes meals and we got a package that includes our meals at the hotel for an additional price. It was a lot, but we figured its worth it so we dont have to worry.

The tours are mostly centered on scuba diving and snorkeling. There are also a bunch that do 4x4 excursions and things like that.

Someone mentioned on there, that the '05 package deals come out sometime this month, so might be worth bringing up with whomever you are going through to book.

Thanks for the heads up about the 2005 rates, Future Bride! Which islands are you planning on going to? I've heard that Moorea and Bora Bora are the best and you have to go to Tahiti b/c that is the way from LA. We wanted to do a cruise, but the timing didn't work.
