Is anyone going there for your honeymoon? This has always been my dream, but lately I'm starting to think with the price it's just going to be too much.
Anyone going and have a price to give me? FM if you want. I'd love to find some good deal to go there. It just looks absolutely breathtaking.

i heard that st. regis in bora bora is offering every 3rd night and a resort credit of about 500 dollars.
i also would LOVE to go there and have been harassing FH about it daily! lol

We're going to Fiji!!! Not sure what your budget is but the prices are all different (from budget/economy to the most luxurious) depending on the island and the quality of the resort. A lot of the islands only have one resort on them. FM me if you want any info...I have a few qutoes from diff. travel agents

The best thing I can say is don't settle. Go back and forth and back and forth, and back and forth again with different travel agents. And eventually you'll find the best deal. By doing this I was able to get airfare roundtrip to Bora Bora from LAX, 1 night in Tahiti, and 6 nights in an OWB w/ Breakfast at the Hilton Bora Bora Nui (I picked this hotel because it is supposed to have the best snorkeling) for $6100 for me and FH.
It took a lot of work to get a price we felt comfortable with. Start with Tripology (you can request your trip and three travel agents will come back with prices). Also, check out Air Tahiti's vacation site, Islands of the Sun, and Chloe from Tahitimoon or Gotahiti. Good luck!

i would check out orbitz for the price of your flight ... August prices for us were insane ($2000 per person) ... but if you are flexible on dates, you might find it for less

Persistence is the key. I originally thought $7800 was a great price, until I kept negotiating and haggling.

We are going to Tahiti, Moorea and Bora Bora. I did a lot of research and finally came across a great travel agent and she got us the best deal.

We are going to Bora Bora and Tikehau. FH did extensive research on this trip. We originally looked at booking with Costco because they have great prices on packages to Tahiti...but ended up going with a private Travel Agent that specializes in Tahiti...FH found her on Tripadvisor.
If you are looking for a good deal...try Costco.

I heard Fiji - it's an awesome time to go now - US$ is great over there due to their new government.
Fiji is a cheaper than Tahiti.
FH & I looked into both options but concentrating more on Tahiti - we ended up booking a trip to Tahiti...
FM if you want details and quotes. I did extensive research. How many nights are you planning on staying and are you planning on doing island hopping? Do you want meals included? EVERYTHING is expensive there...just keep that in mind...
