Who did you book with ??? i ahve been searching online and i can not find air travel home from Bora Bora.... do you have to fly back to Tahiti???? i can't find a flight from tahiti to bora bora either???? is it an air transfer??

you have to fly from bora bora back to tahiti to get home. The interisland flights are done by air tahiti.I think you can only book them 2 months in advance or something like that.
FH and I are using are miles to get flights and then we're staying at LE Meredien in both Tahiti and Bora Bora.

We went through Costco...You can only do direct intercontinental flights out of Tahiti not Bora Bora.
FH and I thought about booking it all on our own, but it is really too much with all the inter-island flights.

You can only get a direct flight back to the USA thru Tahiti. We went on a cruise so it was all packaged for us. We used a great travel agent for the cruise. FM mail me for her name and #.

Yep - you have to fly through Tahiti. We used MSW but we also checked out In and Out Travel. MSW booked everything for us through Gogo Tours.
***Here's a tip for all Tahiti HMers -- there's no assigned seating on the small interisland flights so try to be first in line so you get the seat you want!*** You board these puddle-jumpers right on the tarmac!

I booked it myself. Air through Air Tahiti Nui. We have direct flights from JFK, and we are staying at Starwood hotels on all islands. www.starwood.com/tahiti

I booked through my mom-a travel agent. Her anme is Laura Jean and her company is called LJ's Getaways. Her number is 631-874-3105. She has researched Tahiti (I am honeymooning there) and her sister islands like crazy and got me great deal. A bride on here booked through Costco so my mom called Costoc to get their price and then called her wholesaler to see if they would beat Costco's price and they did. Travel agents, because they go through many wholesalers, can often get a client the best price b/c wholesalers highly compete with one another. You must book a separate flight to Bora Bora from Tahiti.
