Taking a Break

I know a lot of people have been leaving the site lately and I don't normally like the big announcements when someone leaves a message board. However as many of you know, there has been a lot of stuff going on in my life, especially FH's recent problems. Things are extraordinarily difficult for us right now on many levels, and I am very seriously considering calling off the wedding and just having a very small, intimate civil ceremony and celebration with immediate family and a few very close friends. I am not sure that this is the route we are going to take, and it would greatly sadden me to have to do so, because of the circumstances, but some things are just far more important than the big wedding with all the trimmings, and sometimes reality has to come before the dreams.

So I've decided that I think I need to take a small break from this site and these boards, as it will only make my decision that much more difficult if I have weddings and wedding planning constantly in my face. I may come back, I may not, but I know that for now, I need to go. I have met some incredibly amazing women because of LIW and I hope not to lose touch with any of them. while I am upset that so many people are leaving and believe me when I say, I truly liked everyone on these boards, your departure is the one that has me the most upset. You have given me such great advice when it came to school and have inspired me to continue to pursue my law degree in P.I. You are a very intelligent person and your advice will be missed. Wow, posts like this really make you realize what's important in life. Not that I don't know what's important, but it's so easy to get wrapped up in the drama around here.
