on an impulse, i saw this beautiful prom dress which very closely resembled carolyn bessettes wedding dress- slinky, silky kinda form fitting. that was when we were planning an outdoor summer wedding
now we hava a november church wedding and personally i dont feel comfortable wearing that in church so im going to get another and just wear this one during the height of the reception

My dress just cost too much to do that, I wouldn't get the money back. Though sometimes I want to switch the dress, I know I can't.

I got a second one. After taking pics. of myself in the first one I really didn't think it was the most flattering look for me (lots of tulle, etc). I got a second straight one that I think makes me look much thinner. I got it lately, 6 mos. after the initial one, and I wish I had held off on getting the first to see what type I would really want before getting it, but oh well. I really like the second. It is much more 'me.'

I've considered it ... usually after seeing a thread with lots of gowns but then i go home and try it on and remember why i love it.

LauraPete- I'm surprised you ahven't had mroe rsponses- there were a few people recelty who posted about this. I don't recall who though.

THis is my story as well- my 1st one had beading and crystals pretty but not as flattering- My 2nd one is a drop waist PLAIN dress- more my style.
