Taking pic of yourself in dress at salon

Now, I know it's a no-no when you're just shopping...

but let's say you've purchased it and you're waiting for it to come in....can you take a picture of yourself in the sample?

I already purchased it at Lillette's...but it won't be in for quite a while. They'd probably hate me if I came in and bugged them just to try it on again with a pic! I just need to know how it's all gonna tie together with hair & veil.

You should be able too. Just talk to your sales person and see what they say.

At paradise in Patchogue not only can you take pictures- of any dress as many times as you want-- but they turn the lights off and put 'dj' lights on so you can see how your dress will sparkle at your reception! It's really great becuase I looked at so many dresses and when I got home I compared on my computer!!

Oh please!!! I bought my dress at Lillette's too and I must have gone in there at least a 5 or 6 times just to try on the sample and take pics!!! If anything they must hate people like me!! I know they will definitely let you take pics. Go bug them!!!

after u pay for it, u can take a pic in the sample in most salons...

After I purchased my gown, I was able to go back and try it on and take pics. I did it like 4 times....they probably wanted to kill me

I didn't need an appointment. I just went in and they were able to get my dress for me.

i ordered my dress at a trunk show at Bridal Reflections in Carle Place. i HAD to take pics in the sample, cause they had to send the sample back to the designer the next day
so i stayed in it for like a 1/2 hour and took pics so i wouldnt forget what every detail looked like!!

Yeah I would definitely make an appointment to try it on again. I've only dealt with my consultant - who has been more than wonderful everytime I ask to try it on!! I would just say that you wanted to show someone the dress and just bring anyone with you to help you take pics you know? Thats what I did!

when i was looking at BM dresses, i put on my dress to see how the girls dresses looked with mine...we were in there for hrs, and the sales lady even took pics for us!
