Why won't the dress stores allow us to take pictures of the dresses we like (besides using the pic to find the dress online for cheaper)? My MOH lives in Europe and I want her input on the dress......How can I do this if I can't take a picture of the dress? Will they let me write down the designer/style #?

I know... I think it's weird too. Some places let you and other places don't. I got my dress at Kleinfelds and they made it very clear No Pictures. Ugh! Now that we spent a fortune on it am I allowed to at the fittings? Hmmm...

depends on the store and what their policy is...some will have the labels in them so you'd be able to find them online, but most will not let you until you put some money down.

Mine wouldnt let me until we put the deposit down. All the labels were pulled out. Later I found out after taking pictures it was private label. the main thing is they dont want you to find the dress cheaper anywhere.

I figured as much......my issue is that I'm not even shopping around---I just want pictures to send to my MOH. Grrrrrrrr

Try looking online alittle, then you definitly can send pictures to her. There wont be anyone anoying you saying no pictures.. Its so anoying, but on the other hand they are just trying to make a sale. Hope you get some pictures.
