So tonight the following is on TV:

Jets vs. Dolphins Monday Night Football
Monday Night Wrestling
Everybody Loves Raymond
SNL Presidential Spoofs

I'll do picture in picture for the football game and wrestling

and will tivo the other 2

sheer brilliance

You won't be able to do that with just the DVR box. I hope you have other real 'TIVOs' in the house to accomplish this.

I didn't know the Jets are on MNF. I'll have to tune in when I get home. What time the game starts.

Me and FW are going out to Manhattan for dinner since today marks our 1yr engagement anniversary. I should be home around 10ish or a little after.

SNL is on at 10-11
Football is on at 9
as is wrestling

so i may not be able to do picture in picture while my shows are recording

I'll have to improvise

No you can't. You can only watch or record two LIVE events at the same time. The PIP counts as the second live event.

If Raw is 9-11. There is no way you will be able to do this. You will have to pick two shows to watch.

The only way you can watch or record more than two shows at once... is for example if you are actually watching a recorded show... then you have a live show PIPed... then you are recording another live show.

That would work the best. Get the tape from your buddy... then you can watch the remainding three shows since SNL and Raymond are on at different times.

Now if you had a ReplayTV DVR... I could have recorded the WWE for you. Then I could send you the show over the internet to your Reply and you could watch it after you download it.

But thats another topic alltogether.
