tall brides and shoes dilemma

Hi ladies I'm a little taller than FI which is barely noticeable when I'm in flats. However I love heels! FI has said a numerous occasions that he doesn't care about the height difference if I went with heels. I decided that I won't wear uber high heels *tear* so I'm in search for mid heel shoes that still have that pop for the big day. SO far I'm not having any luck. Any designer suggestions?

I'm slightly taller than FH also, so I decided to wear flats the whole day. I love heels too, but I think I'll love not being so much taller than him more than I love heels, on our wedding day! LOL! It makes me sad too. On a normal every day whatever, I don't care being taller than him, but this one day, I'll take one for the team. lol.

Kate Spade has some nice mid-heels though.

FH is only sliiiiightly taller than me. I decided to go with a small 2.5 inch heel for the ceremony and pictures then sparkly converse for the reception.

This are the heels I got, they definitely still have that pop!

Try www.christyng.com. I bought my shoes there & the heels aren't that high. They can also customize your shoes as well. :)

I'm tall too - I love wearing heels! But I decided comfort outweighed the height for that day. I got beautiful shoes that I actually picked up today from Shoe Elegance in Rockville Centre on Sunrise Highway. The man that owns the shop is SO sweet and they have a great selection! He'll even dye them black for you after the wedding if you want to make use of them again

I feel you girl! FH and I are the same height, so I plan on rocking flats the day of the wedding! I'm actually planning on buying a pair of simple black flats and turning them into red glitter flats. I'm gonna try this ahead of time, in the chance that they don't work out that way :)
