TANKS

Where did everyone get there tanks for their bridal party? I found a couple of sites, but they still seem pricey.

I don't think I am doing it for that reason. They are super pricey. I might go get tanks and have my mom embroider them, but my mom is so busy with other wedding stuff, so we will see.

i was going to do tanks, but they are pricey and i just dont feel that they will ever wear them again besides the day of the wedding! so to spend that money for one day doesnt seem like a good idea

I agree, really pricey for something that they wear once. I opted for really cute monogramed totes from Land's End instead. Some of the DIYers may have some suggestions to relieve some of the cost.

i wasn't going to do them for that reason also, but customized girl was having a buy one get one free sale last week, so they ended up being like $11 each or something like that. Not too bad.

That's exactly what I was going to say. They will only wear them for less than an hour for a couple of pictures. I don't think it's really worth it.

i got them from the knot on sale for 12.99 (theres ones for 9.99 usually but those are shorter and run very small).... theyre american apparel tanks with rhinestone workding the only thing that s u ck s is that they only have 'bridesmaid' no maid of honor, boooo!

Even though I am a bride, my sister is one first (July 1st) and for her Bridal shower, I made her a girls' night out basket for the night before the wedding (it's in Disney, so it's not going to be a typical bachelorette party). in the basket, I made tanks for the MOH (myself), the bride, and the BM (yes, small bridal party). Bought the tanks at Walmart (all same color) for like $5-$6 each and then went to Michael's and found the Iron-on jewels for $1. $1 for 'Bridesmaid,' $1 for 'Maid of Honor' and $1 for 'Bride' and 'I Do'

Seems like it's the cheapest way if you don't have too many to make. And trust me, the ironing was very easy (my aunt did it for me since she has a good eye for putting them on straight)

Re: TANKS

I ordered the iron on rhinestone decals on bay

3 bridesmaids, 2 MOH and 1 bride in pink rhinestone and it came out to $30 with shipping.

Then I went to conway and bought $2.99 tanks

So in total they are costing me $48

i saw them at Michaels for 12$ each.. so with the 40% off coupon they are like 7.50$

they also have hoodies, flower girl and ring bearer shirts.
