Which do you prefer? I'm new at this tanning stuff, but really want color for a wedding I am in, in a few weeks. Thanks!

The standups get every area, however I prefer the bed, I get lightheaded standing there in that small room in the heat!!! I get just as much color in the bed as the standup though.

I only use standup.. ... even tho I know they wipe down the beds, it just skeeves me to lay on a bed where other ppl have sweated. I dont know how germ free they are...
Plus the standups give you a better, more even, and darker tan...

I've gone in 3 different stand up booths, and passed out all 3 times...one time hitting my head and actually bleeding from it
So I'm a big fan of the beds...it's more comfortable and relaxing that way.

I am not really a tanner but I tried the beds once and hated every minute of it. I felt like I was in a coffin and was sooo freaked out - I would never try it again. I tried the stand up booths twice since (to get a base tan for honeymoon and anothr vacatation) and they were much better. Although I did get impatient just standing around not doing anything. But they were fine and it gave even color.

I always used to do the stand up and preferred it. But then i did this one bed that was an actual mattress (only bulbs on top of you) & you had to turnover but it was comfortable. I find regular beds hard and not comfy but I don't know if I really have a preference.

Wow! I guess I'll just have to try both out and see which I like better, the passing out part kind of freaks me out though! Thanks ladies!

The bed..i always fall asleep, although the stand up is supposed to give you an even tan.

stand up!!!! I don't like lying down on a bed . . . and I feel that the stand-up is more even.

I prefer the bed because I can lay back and relax. I never know what to do with my arms in the stand up booths!!

I prefer the bed because it is quite relaxing. A few times I tried the standup and always felt like I may pass out.
