tanning - repost from 05 board

Hi,
I have to be the fairest Italian in the world - and it is more obvious because I have dark hair. In the past I've gone tanning, but am trying to save my skin to avoid getting wrinkles & skin cancer - so I keep hearing about the mystic tan & airbrush tanning. Anyone have any experience with either? I am not good at even application, so whichever requires less work & less maintenance is for me. Thanks, I know this has been posted, but I wanted to get some more input...

I did airbrush tanning, it was great! I didn't end up doing it for the wedding only because they were already booked.
It was very even and looked very natural. The nice thing is that it gets lighter every day so you can pick the shade you like.

How much did it cost? And how often do you have to have it done? Thanks for the info.

the prices vary, where I went it was 160 for 3 times.

You do it once before the even. I had it done for a trial, to see what I would look like. The next time I was going to get it done before the wedding - but as I said - the dates were full.
