Tao

Anyone ever been to Tao? How is it? We ar pregamming at work at 4 and then our bosses are taking the whole office there tonight. is it Chinese Food? Japanese? I have heard of it of course, but have never been.

I was there this Sunday after seeing Wicked. I'm not one for trying different foods so I had the pork pot stickers and the pork Lo mein for dinner. It was very good. Drinks are expensive (2 apple martini's $27) but I guess that is normal for the city. Pretty cool place! Oh, I forgot...you MUST HAVE DESSERT!!!!! Awesome! I shared chocolate raspberry wontons with my daughter. Unbelievable!!!!!

YEAH unfortunately it is becoming the norm for the city, but Tao is also known to be more expensive. When my friend went she said everyones plate came out to around $85 each and she didnt even get much bc shes not crazy about thai

It's Asian cuisine - pretty good, but very pricey. It's very trendy, and you might even see a celeb there. Their peking duck is excellent!

ETA - Their wasabi crusted filet mignon is also very yummy.

Someone said they ahve an $80 steak there. Haha But i figure Ill be polite and get something cheaper. I have only worked here a month. My boss sent out an email to the office saying that if we get wasted tonight, we are still expected to come in tomorrow. It made me laugh.

Ha, when I was there one time I saw a celeb ... but of course with my luck it was only Andy Rooney. Why can't I get someone cool!

Oh free meals at Tao are even better!

I've taken summer associates there for lunch and we've been able to order 3 courses (no alcohol) for under $70pp.
